alice bridal shower
Lewis Carrol's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" inspired the invitations and theme for an afternoon tea bridal shower. Guests were invited "through the looking glass" with a velvet bound folio. When opened, a passage from Carol's book was reveal on tea-stained cotton paper. Escort cards table numbers featured original illustrations by Lord Tenniel. Playing off the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, parting favors included loose leaf tea and macaroons for after the party's conclusion. The macaroons were individually packaged in custom printed and velvet lined boxes with a White Rabbit wax seal and silver foil on vellum to describe the flavor.
