classic and whimsical with modern touches
french blue, cream, butter
The main design for this French-chateaux inspired wedding was centered around a custom toile pattern and Cosmo - the bride and groom's chocolate Labradoodle. Cosmos (the flower) were both an homage to their puppy and key design element. The toile is comprised of modern, personalized illustrations and is paired with a unique calligraphy script.
The suite was 4 pieces and consisted of a formal invitation letterpressed on handmade paper, bound to a linen print of the Cosmo illustration. Each illustration was featured on its own insert. The envelope was a custom die cut with the repeating toile pattern, gold ink calligraphy, a foil stamped return address, and vintage postage.
The toile pattern was subtly represented on custom printed cloth napkins, linens, and pillows. The bride carried a bouquet of white cosmos with a blue silk ribbon (used in the save the dates). To add a bright and fresh element, lemons were featured. Dried lemons and flowers were used in resin pendants (for escort cards) and table numbers. A parting favor table allowed guests to choose between Cosmo seed packets, limoncello, and lavender sachets.
