earthy, tribal, intentional
terra cotta, turquoise, slate gray
The design was centered around the bride's Native American heritage and her tribal name, Bear Paw. Using this as inspiration, we created a custom tribe symbol and pattern incorporating the M & W of the couple's initials, as well as the symbol for "bear." The most important elements the couple wanted featured were leather and a traditionally inspired hand-wrapped feather - a gift that denotes a special occasion to be given in the suite.
The suite was 3 pieces and consisted of a formal invitation on laser engraved leather. A handmade paper box featured the watercolor motif and lotka paper. The suite was bound with a leather cord and custom brass pendant, and the feather was wrapped with cord and turquoise beads. Each box was bound with twine and custom postage.
Leather elements continued through the wedding day with personalized napkin cuffs, vow books, and bar + food station signage. Wood and leather were layered to reinforce the earthy and natural tones, accented by brass metallic and bold, jewel-toned fruit & flowers.
